Amy Winehouse will not be performing at the Grammys in America as she has been denied a visa to enter the country.

A spokesman for the 24-year-old said “Although disappointed with the decision, (Winehouse) has accepted the the ruling and will be concentrating on her recovery”.

The US Embassy declined to comment on the matter, although it would have been a difficult decision due to the singers drug record.

Winehouse was due to perform a duet with Kayne West at the Grammys but that has now obviously been cancelled.

After her recent public decline in health due to her drug addiction she entered rehab where she is said to be progressing well and i am sure she will have many more opportunities in the future if she can stay clean, lets hope so.
