Amy Winehouse has been spotted out and about with a swollen and bruised left cheek. The drug addict had tried to cover up with make-up but it couldn’t disguise the swelling.
A close friend of Winehouse’s was to have confirmed the problem by saying that Amy had made an emergency appointment with a doctor. The friend went onto say that “she had suffered some form of skin infection - maybe an allergic reaction.”
According to the expert and broadcaster Dr Hilary Jones said when talking to the News of the World “I think the most likely explanation is a direct blow, either accidental or deliberate. A skin complaint wouldn’t cause swelling.” He went onto say “It could be she’s walked into a door or fallen over -which is very likely with her drug habit.”
A spokesman for Amy said “Amy has been diagnosed with impetigo which she’s been told can be highly contagious. Because of that she’s been put on antibiotics and may have to stay home alone for the next few days.”
It has also been said that the Record bosses are supposedly ordering her back to rehab after reports that she is back on drugs, she is due to report to them tomorrow . In was claimed last week that the singer had collapsed after taking a cocktail of prescribed medication and illegal drugs. A spokesman was to have said ” All the optimism after the Grammys has gone. Amy is sliding towards oblivion.”
It has also been reported that her husband Blake Fielder-Civil, 25 years old, has had to have fifty stitches in his arms and legs after self-harming himself in his cell, a source said “He misses Amy, and it frustrates him that she can’t even turn up on time when she visits.”
