Ashley Cole has been visited by a psychologist according to reports in The Sun, after his employers at Chelsea Football Club began getting concerned over his mental health.
Cole who is staying in a clinic in Paris receiving treatment for his ankle injury was reported to be in terrible shape mentally, miserable and depressed in the wake of being dumped by wife Cheryl Cole.
However with news that the psychologist was arriving Cole appears to have perked himself up no end and has managed to shave himself and even had his hair trimmed in readiness for the visit.
The Sun reports that a day after the first visit there were visible changes in the Chelsea and England players attitude, no longer moping around he was displaying signs of being serious and sensible.
A spokesman for Chelsea Football Club was quick to point out that it is routine procedure to have the psychologisor medical staff visit players who are suffering long term injury problems and that the visit to Ashley Cole is no different.
