Last night Britney Spears was released from the psychiatric ward where she has been receiving treatment for the past week 11 days early.  The trouble singer went straight to a hotel where she met up with her paparazzi boyfriend Adnan Ghalib.  From there she was said to have gone to see her new lawyer Adam Streisand, who earlier in the week was told that he “had no standing to represent Ms Spears”.

Britney’s parents Lynn and Jamie are said to have condemned her early release because of fears of her mental health.  The couple who are divorced said in a statement “We are deeply concerned for our daughter’s safety and vunerability and we believe her life is presently at risk”.  The couple went onto say “There are conservatorship orders in place created to protect our daughter that are being blatantly disregarded.  We ask only that the court’s orders be enforced so that a tragedy may be averted”.

Spear’s lawyer is now seeking a ruling for renewed visitation rights with her children under medical supervision.
