That old do-gooder Mel Gibson has helped Britney Spears to find her faith in God. The singer has been receiving help from Gibson for a few weeks and she is apparently transformed.
Gibson and Spears are neighbours in Malibu and have known each other for a couple of years. She has agreed to visit the actors church, The Holy Family Catholic Church in California, founded by Gibson in 2004, and perform some songs.
A spokesperson for Gibson said that he was acting as a mentor to Britney, helping her to rediscover God, and adding ‘He is thrilled that she has agreed to come to his church.’
