Sue Terry, 50 and Sue Poole, 54, were both accused of stealing clothes and food from Tesco and M&S worth a reported £800. A lawyer has since said that it has been an unfortunate misunderstanding and that both women will be taking legal action to clear their names.

Eamonn Holmes has confirmed he is engaged to his girlfriend and co-presenter Ruth Langsford, which took place while the couple took a romantic break last week.

Holmes, 49, and his partner of 12-years, have a 7-year-old son together and are planning to get married in the Spring of 2010.

Ben Fogle is still suffering from the flesh-eating disease he contracted after being bitten by a species of sand fly while filming for series Extreme Dreams.

He is now facing another six-weeks of chemotherapy in an attempt to halt the condition which can be fatal. The TV presenter has been struck down with regular bouts of sickness and muscle seizures which are common symptoms of Leishmaniasis.
