There are going to be a lot of very unhappy people about today after the news that Chas and Dave are splitting up after 37-years performing together.

Dave Peacock, 64, has decided to retire from the music industry after the recent death of his wife but his partner Chas, 65, has vowed to continue under the new name ‘Chas And His Band’.

The world of football, said a tearful farewell to Sir Bobby Robson yesterday at a memorial service held at Durham Cathedral, attended by family, friends and celebrities, after losing his battle with cancer in July at the age of 76.

According to reports, David Hasselhoff has claimed he was taken to hospital on Sunday after becoming unwell due to mixing medication for an ear problem with his anti-alcohol drug!

The 57-year-old actor, was being treated for an inner ear infection and the medication made him dizzy, causing the misunderstanding that he had been drinking!

Brian McFadden is still seeking full custody of his children despite Kerry Katona claiming that he wouldn’t go ahead with it.

McFadden made his intentions clear on his Twitter account saying;

“Hate to do this but need to clear up false rumours! First, I am still seeking custody of my children.”

before adding;

“Second, I am NOT going in the jungle.  I did however apply for the Sugababes role but apparently I didn’t get it due to lack of experience!”

Don't Drink & Drive

Chloe Madeley, daughter of Richard and Judy, has allegedly been charged with drink driving when her car was found overturned after previously hitting a parked mini in a residential road close to the home of her parents.

The 22-year-old, was apparently breathalysed at her family home before being arrested on Sunday, she is due to appear at Hendon Magistrates’ Court on September 2.

Kerry Katona has lost her contract for the frozen food brand ‘Iceland’ after the secret footage was shown of the former singer snorting a white powder at her home last week, it is claimed.

Her former partner Brian McFadden, is now said to be in contact with lawyers to gain custody of his two daughters, Molly,7, and Lilly Sue, 6, after it was reported that they were in the house at the time of the incident.

The singer Celine Dion, 41,  has confirmed that her and her husband Rene Angeli, 67, are expecting their second child together.

Angeli has three children from a previous relationship and the couple have a son Rene-Charles, 8, after undergoing IVF treatment.

Jennifer Ellison, former Brookside actress, has also confirmed she is expecting her first child with boyfriend Robbie Tickle.

The 26-year-old, is four months pregnant and admitted getting broody after meeting Robbie’s 8-year-old twin daughters.

Cerys Matthews

Welsh singer Cerys Matthews, confirmed she is pregnant with her third child after starting a relationship with her manager Steve Abbott in February.

The 40-year-old, has two children from her previous marriage Glenys Pearl y-Felin, 5, and Johnny Tupelo Jones, 3, and her 49-year-old partner also has two children from his former marriage.

Kerry Katona has allegedly been filmed snorting a white powder in her bathroom at home while her older children were at home with the nanny.

It’s the latest drug scandal involving Katona who has previous denied the accusations, only confessing to using cocaine for a year after the split from her former husband Brian McFadden.

George Michael, has allegedly been arrested again after being involved in a car crash in Berkshire, just two-months after the end of his driving ban, however, he was released without charge five-hours later.

According to reports, former Spice Girl Mel B, has agreed to become a guest host of the popular daytime television programme ‘Loose Women’.

The former ‘Men Behaving Badly’ star Neil Morrissey, has allegedly lost millions of pounds after a property scheme he invested in collapsed.

Natasha Richardson

According to reports, the actress Natasha Richardson has had her family around her as she clings to life in a hospital near her home in New York.

The 45-year-old, developed life threatening injuries after a small fall during a skiing lesson in Canada and is now believed to be brain dead.

It was announced today that Brian McFadden, the former Westlife member, is to marry his girlfriend Delta Goodrem at Christmas.

The couple got engaged in November 2007 and live together in Australia, and have said that they will be making a date in the next couple of weeks.

Bruce Forsyth was presented with a lifetime achievement award last night from the Royal Television Society Awards event in London.

Heath Ledger

According to reports, the actors who completed the movie that was unfinished by Heath Ledger when he died in January, have donated their salaries to Ledger’s daughter, Matilda.

The film ‘The Imaginarium of Dr Parnassus’, was completed by Johnny Depp, Colin Farrell and Jude Law but they were concerned for the future of the child.

Cristiano Ronaldo has been voted the Ultimate Gay Icon, according to a new pole.  The 23-year-old football star, was said to have beat the other nominations because of his “ripped body, slicked-back hair, shiny white teeth and jewellery.

Apparently, Brian McFadden has caused outrage in the gay community after stating that straight men shouldn’t wear pink.

The former Westlife singer, was being interviewed on More FM radio in New Zealand when he made the comment, he added “If you are not gay, a man should not be wearing pink”.

Brain, 26, is apparently using her recent Reality TV programme ‘Crazy In Love’ as ammunition to show what a bad mother she is.

It’s claimed that a source close to Brian said “Those poor girls need stability because they’ve lived a rollercoaster ride with Kerry for too long.  You only have to look at her show and see the mess she’s in.  Brian can give them the upbringing they deserve.”

Brian has apparently hired a high-flying QC to start court proceedings to get custody of his children.

He has held back now for four years but has finally lost his patience and has called Kerry “disgusting” and “an embarrassment.”

Brian claims that Kerry, cynically exploited their girls by dragging them into the row surrounding the premature birth of her new son.  His ex-wife accused him of triggering her anxiety which brought on the labour, because he’d returned his daughters late after they had visited him and his partner, Delata Goodrem at their Australian home.

In the exclusive interview he was reported to have said “She manipulates people and plays the sympathy card for every stupid mistake she makes.  Me and my family have been put through hell by her stupid games.”

“She uses my two girls as a weapon in her childish games.  She is an embarrassment to me, my family and my children.”

It was claimed he admitted that he is terrified that Molly, 6-years-old and Lilly-Sue, 5-years-old, will think that the way Kerry acts is normal.

He added “We put them into as much of a routine as possible.  But it breaks our hearts when the kids quote back stuff they’ve heard form Kerry. ‘Mummy has to go to the Priory because she’s not feeling well’ – things like that.”

Brian knows that the interview is going to anger Kerry but he feels it’s about time everyone knew the truth.

Molly and Lilly-Sue had been taken by their gran to visit Brian at his home in Australia.  The girls were due t0 be returned on the 30th March but a call was made to Kerry saying that they would be staying a couple more days in Dublin and would be returned on the 3rd April.

Kerry was reportedly furious when the girls were returned to her a week before she went into labour, with son Max who arrived five weeks early.

Brian’s mother Mairead and her husband, Brendan, adore their granddaughters and Brendan said “If you watch her programme, you will know what she’s like.  That’s the way she is.  That’s the way we know her.”

Mairead hopes to help Brian look after the girls if he wins custody of them in the ongoing legal battle.
