Carol Thatcher, daughter of Margaret, is no longer allowed to work on the BBC One show after recent remarks made off-air.

Thatcher referred to a tennis player reminding her of a golliwog on a jam pot from when she was a child.  The BBC had hoped she would issue an unconditional apology which she had apparently declined to do.

Jade Goody has been given the devastating news that her cancer has now spread after tumours have appeared in her liver, bowel and groin.

The 27-year-old, was diagnosed with cervical cancer in August and was given a 40% chance of survival, but she has now said, “The reality is I have gone from a 40% chance of a cure to seeing how long I can stay alive.”

Sam Lufti, the former manager of pop singer Britney Spears, is too sue Ms. Spears and her parents for libel and defamation.

The family claimed that Lufti had been drugging the singer and taking control of her finances, which he says has caused him “humiliation” and “distress”, this comes just days after a judge granted a restraining order against him and Adnan Ghalib.
