Harry Potter star Daniel Radcliffe, was said to be furious this morning over a daily newspaper printed a photograph of him smoking a roll-up cigarette, claiming that the actor was smoking cannabis.

The 20-year-old denied the claim and is considering taking legal action against the newspaper with his representative stating that the actor smokes the occasional roll-up cigarette and nothing more.

Bruce Forsyth will have to miss tomorrow night’s episode of ‘Strictly Come Dancing’ after coming down with flu.  The 81-year-old has been advised by doctors to take a week off and rest.

Tess Daly will as usual be on the programme and is likely to take over Bruce’s role on the show if a replacement is not found in time.

David Dimbelby, presenter of the BBC’s Question Time, was forced to miss his first ever programme in 15-years yesterday after being kicked in the head by a bullock belonging to his wife.

Mr Dimbleby was believed to have been helping to load the animal into a trailer at his Sussex farm on Thursday when the bullock kicked-out leaving the 71-year-old with a head wound that needed stitching an an overnight stay at the local hospital as a precaution.

James Waylett

The actor James Waylett, who played the part of bully-boy Vincent Crabbe in the Harry Potter movies, has been sentenced to 120 hours of community service for his part in the growing of cannabis.

The 19-year-old, who has now been nicknamed ‘Harry Pothead’, and 20-year-old John Innes, were arrested in London in April of this year after police searched of the car they were in and discovered eight bags of cannabis.  The actors home was then searched and ten cannabis plants were found.  Innes received six-weeks in a young offenders institute and a £500 fine for his part in the crime.

R&B star Chris Brown, has made a public apology to his former girlfriend Rihanna, for the attack on her the night before the Grammy Awards in February, for which he was later arrested.

The 20-year-old, stated that what happened was “inexcusable” and that he had repeatedly apologised to Rihanna, he is due to be sentenced next month after pleading guilty.

Rebecca Loos, former PA and claimed to have had a fling with footballer David Beckham, has given birth to her first child, a son weighing 7lb 30z.

Loos  is now living in Oslo with her partner Christjar Skaiaa and the couple have named their son Magnus Leon Loos Skaiaa.

Harry Potter

Jamie Waylett, who played the part of bully boy Vincent Crabbe in the Harry Potter movies, has been charged with growing 10 cannabis plants in his bedroom at his family home.

The 19-year-old actor, was pulled-over by police last week while out driving after police believed he was acting suspiciously.  He was arrested on suspicion of drug possession and is to appear at Westminster Magistrate’s Court on July 16th.

According to reports, the former England goalkeeper David Seaman, has moved in with a professional Ice Skater he met while taking part in the ‘Dancing On Ice’ show.

The couple are said to have met during rehearsals in March of this year, around the same time that the footballer left his second wife, whom he had been married to for 10 years, and their two children.

Actor Hugo Speer,  has been allegedly charged with drink driving, after being spotted by passers-by in his car in a lane in North Yorkshire last month.

The Full Monty star, was apparently found slumped over the steering wheel with his hazard warning lights flashing when emergency services arrived.  The 41-year-old, was due in court yesterday but the case has been adjourned while his solicitor is on holiday.

Wendy Richard As Pauline Fowler

Wendy Richard has had a plaque unveiled in her memory at the Shepherd’s Tavern pub in Mayfair, attended by a host of celebrities to pay tribute to the actress.

The 65-year-old actress, lost her battle with cancer in February and the plaque was uncovered to celebrate her life,  stating that she had  lived at the address from 1943 until 1953.

Liz Smith, who most recently played the part of Nana in The Royle Family, has announced that she is retiring from acting at the age of 87.

The actress has spent the past two-months in hospital after suffering a stroke and feels that further acting roles are beyond her although she is hoping to continue with her writing.

Kirsty Gallacher, now known for her stints on Ant and Dec’s Saturday night show, has become engaged after her boyfriend, rugby player Paul Sampson, proposed on Saturday.

The couple who have been together for eight years, and have a two-year-old son together called Oscar are hoping to get married sometime next year.

Rupert Grint, who plays the part of Ron Weasley in the Harry Potter films, is said to have contacted the swine flu virus and had been kept away from the latest film set for fear of the infection spreading.

According to reports, the 20-year-old actor has now recovered from what was said to be only a mild bout and is looking forward to returning to work this week.

Mike Tyson

Former boxing champion Mike Tyson, 42, has married his 32-year-old girlfriend in the Las Vegas Wedding Chapel, only a couple of weeks after the death of his young daughter.

Tyson and his bride were said to have had a very simple ceremony on Saturday, with the couple just wanting to say their vows and be married.

Rachel Stevens, the former S Club 7 singer, was mugged yesterday afternoon while entering her flat in North London.

Three men forced her to hand over jewellery, which allegedly included her engagement ring, a Rolex watch and a necklace.  The 31-year-old, was said to be distressed but unharmed after the men threatened her before making off with her possessions.

Emma Watson, who played Hermione Granger in the Harry Potter movies, is the new face of the British fashion label Burberry.

The 19-year-old actress, was photographed around Westminster by the famous fashion photographer Mario Testino under typical British weather conditions.

Professor Dumbledore

Sir Michael Gambon, the 68-year-old actor who played the part of Professor Dumbledore in the Harry Potter films, is to become a father again.

He has a 17-month-old son with his 43-year-old mistress, who is now pregnant again.  Gambon still lives with his wife with who he has a 44-year-old son!

A bronze statue of the late comedian Les Dawson, was unveiled yesterday in Lythan St Annes, Lancashire, his home town.

The had been much opposition about the tribute from locals who apparently didn’t like the idea of him “looking at them every day”, however, their decision was overruled by Councillors and the memorial paid for by his wife Tracy was put in place.

Simon Webbe, from the band Blue, has allegedly signed a deal to be in the latest ‘I’m A Celebrity…..’, and apparently apart from the looks he is also a very good talker.  A little something for the ladies perhaps!
