Dame Judy Dench

Dame Judy Dench was hospitalised on Thursday evening after tripping over a stage door at the Wyndham Theatre in London, badly spraining her ankle.

The 74-year-old actress is appearing in her new play Madame De Sade but after the accident she was advised to rest and had to temporarily pull out of her performances.  She arrived back at work today with a walking stick for support, the show must go on, as they say.

Jack Tweed has had his sentence hearing postponed until April 16th after it was revealed that it was possible that he would not be at his wife’s funeral.

Tweed was photographed yesterday collecting his step-sons Freddie and Bobby from school before taking them to a play park and then out to dinner.

Jade Goody will be laid to rest on April 4th at the Epping Forest Burial Park, and as requested by herself, will be buried in her wedding dress.

Last night was the opening evening of the ‘Priscilla Queen Of The Desert’ at the London Palace Theatre with Jason Donovan and the cast receiving a standing ovation.

Donovan plays the part of a drag queen called Tick alongside Oliver Thornton and Tony Sheldon.  Once the show was over the cast headed to the Hippodrome nightclub for the after-party.  The show has received mixed reviews by the critics although most seemed to agree that it was fun if nothing else.

The eight-hour operation took place at the St John and St Elizabeth hospital in North London nearly a week after the singer was declared bankrupt.

The gorgeous Johnny Depp proved that his talents stretch further than just acting when he performed with his friends, the rock group ‘The Kid’ at Pompano Beach in Florida.

He thrilled fans with his guitar playing at the Sheila Witkin Memorial Reunion Concert’ when he appeared on stage just after midnight, he was also watched by his wife Vanessa Paradis, and their 9-year-old daughter.

Jason Donovan has revealed he has a new album due to be released in November called ‘Let It Be Me’.  The album contains cover versions of songs from the 1950’s and 1960’s.

Donavan’s last album was back in 1993 where it reached 27 in the UK charts.  The 40-year-old singer/actor, married his long-term partner in June with their two children in attendance.
