Bruce Spingsteen cancelled his concert in Kansas City on Monday after the unexpected death of his cousin who was found dead in a motel room.

The singers website stated “  Due to a death in Bruce’s immediate family, tonight’s show at Sprint Center has been unavoidably cancelled. All tickets will be refunded at the point of purchase. Bruce and The Band deeply appreciate the understanding of our Kansas City audience and look forward to returning at the earliest opportunity.”

Madonna has been planting trees at the site of a  girls academy she intends to build in the homeland of her adopted children in Malawi.

The 51-year-old singer arrived in the country on Sunday along with her four children and was witnessed planting the trees by 500 local people.

The Coronation Street actress Samia Smith has given birth to her first child this morning, a baby daughter weighing in at 7lbs 2oz.

The 27-year-old, who plays the part of Maria Connor in the ITV soap and her husband Matt, have named their daughter Freya.

The Daily Mail journalist Jan Muir, recently wrote a disturbing article in the newspaper surrounding the sudden death of ‘Boyzone’ singer Stephen Gately.

The article received a record number of complaints to the Press Complaints Commission after the public considered the column to be a smear on the young mans private life.

According to reports, Madonna is being sued for unreasonable noise levels at her New York home after neighbours complained that the singer was using her home as a rehearsal studio.

The neighbours consider the noise to be unreasonable after loud music, singing and dancing for up to 3-hours a day and have lodged their complaint to the Manhattan Supreme Court.

John Barrowman

John Barrowman was involved in a high-speed crash recently, while filming a slot for the TV Programme ‘Top Gear’.  He was driving a Subaru in the Powys race in Wales with passenger Tiff Needell, when the car slid over a verge and flipped-over four times before coming to rest near a lake.

Barrowman was treated at the scene by paramedics who allegedly removed shattered glass from the actors eye before taking him to hospital.  He received cuts and bruises but was lucky to have escaped without any permanent injuries.

Ulrika Jonsson has fulfilled her dream of having her breasts reduced and lifted after spending a reported £11,000 on cosmetic surgery.

The Swedish TV Presenter, had been unhappy about her body since the birth of her four children and said she now feels that she has the body of a 16-year-old.  Ulrika is said to be ecstatic with her 32c bust and with the procedure she underwent to remove the fat from under her arms called a axilla-plasty.

Madonna has visited Marseilles in France to show support to the families of the two men killed recently when the roof of her stage set collapsed.

The 50-year-old singer, also visited the hospitals where the further eight injured victims are being treated.  A manslaughter investigation is allegedly now underway after it was discovered that one of the cranes being used was faulty.

The rules on residency were said to be outdated and now the adoption of Mercy James, 4-years-old, can go ahead.

Apparently, when asked about the size of the bulge in his shorts, he jokingly said “I actually had this retouched a bit smaller”, don’t you just love him!

Martin has spent a lifetime taking photographs.  As a young man he spent 2 years developing his eye and technical abilities under the not too watchful eye of the US military.  During this period he worked freelance for the New York Times.  After his discharge in 1968 he attended the School of Visual Arts in New York.  Bored by the draft dodgers and absent professors he quit and went solo.  In 1971 he won an honorable mention in the first Life Magazine photography contest in which there were 40,000 entrants.  Published on a full page and paid $600, this was the start of a brilliant career.

In 1977 he began teaching a course at Parsons on photographing the nude, which subsequently ran for the next 8 years.  His first book entitled Bodyscapes was published in 1980.  For his next book project, based on a deep love of the mythic cowboy, he spent the next 18 months riding horses, chasing cattle and cowboys throughout Texas, Oklahoma and New Mexico.  LAST OF A BREED came out in 1982. He was already showing work in galleries and working hard to become a household name in photography. Martin now lives in France and continues to work on personal projects, a camera always at his side.

According to reports, the father of Jesus Luz has said that his son and Madonna will marry soon in a secret Kaballah ceremony in New York.

He was also to have said that Jesus,22, is already living with the singer and her children and that he was unsure if the ceremony would be a legal marriage or just a type of ritual to show their commitment to each other.

Gerard Butler has been charged with assaulting a paparazzo in Los Angeles last October, after being followed by the photographer whilst driving.

Butler allegedly grabbed the member of the press by the throat before thumping him after endangering members of the public in his pursuit to get his photograph.

Kym Marsh was said to have been in horrendous pain at the Soap Awards ceremony on Saturday night after undergoing a breast enlargement only days before.

The Coronation Street actress, was forced to lay down in her hotel room earlier in the day with ice packs on her chest to relieve the pain.

Madonna was apparently treated at hospital in New York at the weekend after being thrown from the horse she was riding when paparazzi jumped out of the bushes to get a photograph, startling the animal.

The singer was treated for minor injuries and bruising but the media have denied causing the accident and said that if this was the case the photograph would have been seen by now.

The Essex home of Jade Goody has been put up for sale at a cost of almost £1million, with all the money going to the trust fund set up for her two sons, Bobby and Freddy.

Goody died at her home on Mother’s Day after losing her battle with cervical cancer and had instructed her mother Jackiey and husband Jack Tweed to sell the property when they felt the time was right.

Patsy Kensit married her boyfriend Jeremy Healy on Saturday in a civil ceremony surrounded by famous faces at the event in Whitehall Place.

Wayne Rooney

If reports are to be true, there is to be a little Rooney arriving at the end of the summer.  Wayne and Coleen are allegedly over-the-moon with the news that she is 3-months pregnant with the couples first child.

Friends were said to have confirmed the news and said that the baby is due at the end of September but it is not known if it is a son or daughter yet.

Madonna, daughter Lourdes, 12, and son David, 3, arrived in Malawi yesterday where she is said to be about to sign adoption papers for a 4-year-old girl.

The singer adopted her son David from the same country back in 2006 and is now hoping that today will see her with a new daughter.
