According to reports, actress Mischa Barton has been released from hospital where she had been kept under an involuntary Psychiatric hold.

Her spokesperson confirmed that she now intends to resume production for the new series of ‘The Beautiful Life’, created by Ashton Kutcher, husband of Demi Moore.

Teenage heartthrob Joe Jonas, apparently broke down on stage last night while performing alongside his singer brothers in Detroit after it was revealed that he had split-up with his girlfriend Camilla Belle.

Ester Rantzen has confirmed that she is in the running for the MP role of Luton South at the next general election after it was announced that the current MP Margaret Moran would be standing down.

Ashley Jensen who plays the part of Christina McKinney in the TV programme ‘Ugly Betty’, has announced that she is expecting her first child with husband Terence Beesley, best known for his role as Bernie Vickers from ‘The Bill’.

The 38-year-old actress, met her husband when they were appearing together in ‘King Lear’ at a London theatre and married in 2007 after a six-year relationship.

Fern Britton was given an emotional farewell today from her colleagues at ‘This Morning’ along with messages and tributes from many fans as well as celebrities she had interviewed in her 10-years on the sofa.

The hostess was serenaded by Michael Ball, John Barrowman and John Leslie before being presented with a portrait of herself painted by Sherree Valentine Daines and a bench for her garden.  Fern left the studio to jet off on a romantic holiday with her husband Phil Vickery.

According to reports, the American actress Mishca Barton, has been placed in a Los Angeles hospital, in a involuntary psychiatric unit, under the same code that the troubled singer Britney Spears was held.

It had been reported earlier in the week that Barton had called LAPD officers to assist with a ‘medical issue’, where it was said that she had been removed from her home.

The ‘Full Monty’ actor Hugo Speer, has been banned from driving for 18-months and fined £350 plus costs after being found slumped at the wheel of his car in June of this year.

The 41-year-old, was found by another motorist in North Yorkshire, after he had crashed into a traffic Island on a country lane and fallen asleep at the wheel.  The police were called and he was found to be twice over the legal drink-drive limit.
