The ex-England footballer Mick Channon, has been seriously injured in a car accident which killed his best friend Tim Corby.
Channon’s 15-year-old son was also injured in the accident but it is believed he is just battered and bruised.  Mr Channon will undergo surgery tomorrow to have his broken arm pinned and his broken jaw wired.  [...]
