Murray Walker

Murray Walker is about to become a skateboarding star after it was revealed that he will be making his animated appearance on the children’s television programme ‘Roary The Racing Car’.

Murray has been heard regularly on the show as his character Mr Murray but he will now be shown doing a range of skateboarding stunts including back-flips and tail-slides which is scheduled to be shown on the 13th September.

The former F1 commentator said;

“Who would have thought that at 87 years, I could perform a routine including a body jar, tailslide, double backflip and a caballerial – it’s extraordinary!”

Lily Allen

According to reports, Lily Allen and her boyfriend Sam Cooper are expecting their first child together and are said to be delighted and excited.

Ms. Allen made the announcement to a daily tabloid, confirming the news that she is three-months pregnant and that she will be continuing with professional commitments by performing at the Big Chill Festival this weekend.

The singer stated in an interview back in May that she was hoping to be pregnant by the end of the year after making no secret of the fact that she was keen to become a mother.

At the beginning of 2008, Lily was left devastated after suffering a miscarriage with her first pregnancy by her partner at the time Ed Simons from the Chemical Brothers.

Chelsea Clinton

This was obviously the most popular weekend for weddings after three celebrities tied-the-knot on Saturday, each in a different way.

Of course, the biggest wedding celebration took place at the stunning country estate in Rhinebeck, North of New York and was classed as the Americans equivalent of a Royal wedding.

Chelsea Clinton, daughter of the former president of America Bill Clinton and the current US Secretary Of State Hillary, married her childhood pal Marc Mezvinsky.

The pair exchanged vows under a white gazebo set-up at the Astor Cours Estate before and evening of eating, drinking and dancing took place.

The TV Presenter Kirsty Gallacher married her long-term partner the Rugby player Paul Sampson in a romantic ceremony in a small Spanish village.

The couple who have been together for the past nine years have two children together but didn’t feel that a British white wedding was right for them.

The third couple were the heavily pregnant Alicia Keys and her partner Swizz Beatz aka Kaseem Dean who have been together since 2008.

The musical pair married in Corsica where they had arrived several days earlier to prepare for their ceremony and to have time to relax before the event took place.

Alicia is due to give birth to her first child in November which will be the third child for her new husband who has recently divorced.

Jennifer Ellison

Only five months after giving birth Jennifer Ellison made her debut on stage at Cardiff in the new production of the popular ‘Calendar Girls’.

The 27-year-old, best known for her days in ‘Brookside’ where she played Emily Shadwick, is the latest actress to appear naked apart from some appropriate placed buns, in the touring play following in the footsteps of Jerry Hall, Kelly Brook and Gemma Atkinson as she takes on the part of Celia.

Jennifer is being accompanied on the tour by her baby son Bobby as they work their way around Scotland before heading to Liverpool over the next few weeks.

Piers Morgan

Yesterday, Piers Morgan married his partner Celia Walden at St Mary’s Church in Swinbrook, Oxon followed by a reception at a nearby pub.

The 45-year-old stuck to his word and tied-the-knot in a small wedding ceremony with just a handful of friends and family on the guest list.

The 33-year-old bride wore a simple white dress with a handmade headband made from fresh daisies and a bouquet of freshly picked wild flowers.

Morgan has three sons from his previous marriage Spencer, Stanley and Albert and divorced in 2008 after 17-years with his first wife.

Morgan and his new bride have been dating for the past 4 years after meeting when he interviewed the Tory MP’s daughter for GQ Magazine.

Katy Perry

Katy Perry ended her night at the MuchMusic Video Awards with a visit to the hospital after injuring herself while dancing leading to 17 stitches in her leg.

The American singer had been performing her new single ‘California Gurls’ at the event before  partying at a nightclub but no explanation has been given to how she exactly received the injury.

As the 26-year-old performed last night at the Canadian TV show Live@Much she was seen wearing a flesh-coloured surgical stocking but gave no sign of being in any pain as she continued her energetic dance routine.

Katy is set to marry Russell Brand next month and it has recently been reported that the couple are planning to wear latex for their big day after commissioning Lady GaGa’s designer to create their outfits.

Katie Price aka Jordan is set to get her marriage to Alex Reid blessed within the coming weeks and has announced that she will be singing her new single at the ceremony for the first time.

The ceremony is being televised and Katie will perform in front of the cameras as well as her many celebrity guests while her new husband is said to be performing with the dance troupe ‘Diversity’.

The event is going to be a completely different affair than her previous wedding to Peter Andre after the model stated that she wanted a more classy occasion.

Katie and Alex married in Las Vegas in February of this year but the couple are looking forward to sharing their special blessing with their friends and family.

Stewart launched a verbal attack on the Gavin & Stacey actor while on stage to present an award to Avatar actress Zoe Saldana for Film Actress of the Year when he began to criticise Corden’s weight.  Corden made light of the situation and got on with the job in hand but was there really any need for the bullying from Stewart?

The personal remarks which made fun of Corden’s weight appeared to be in incredibly bad taste at an awards ceremony, making many of the guests cringe at the embarrassing scene.

James Corden is overweight but he is the first to admit that but perhaps Sir Patrick should stick to his acting as he would certainly not go down to well as a comedian!

The American actress Brittany Murphy, best known for her role in ‘8 Mile’, died yesterday at her Hollywood home from a suspected heart attack at the age of just 32.

An autopsy is expected to take place today but authorities have ruled out any foul play despite rumours that the actress was addicted to prescription drugs.
