Footballer Vinnie Jones, has been found not guilty of assault after a fight broke out in a bar in South Dakota in December 2008.

The now actor, successfully claimed he was acting in self defence after earlier being struck in the face by a glass by one of the group.

Samantha Janus the Eastenders actress married her long-term partner Mark Womack on Sunday surrounded by cast members in London’s Mayfair.

The couple, who finally got engaged in February, have been together for 10-years and have a son Benjamin, 8, and a daughter Rose, 5.

Leslie Ash is returning to our TV screens after five-years out of the public eye when she contracted a hospital superbug, leaving her relying on a walking stick.

Vinnie Jones has signed up for two new movies, a prequel to the 2006 film ‘Smokin Aces’ and a comedy movie ‘Wedlocked’.

Both films are said to be going straight to DVD later this year.  In ‘Wedlock’, Jones plays the part of a Croatian gangster who attempts to kidnap the love of his life while she is on honeymoon after marrying a man to gain US citizenship.

The wedding of Jade Goody and Jack Tweedy is to be aired on ‘Living TV’ on March 11 and 12, with the build-up to the wedding on the first night and the ceremony on the following night.

According to report the TV Channel paid £100,000 for the rights to the programme, which is also to be repeated on March 14 and 15.

Actor Morgan Freeman is allegedly being sued by the passenger who was in the car with him at the time of his accident last August.  She suffered numerous injuries in the accident and is claiming undisclosed damages to cover her medical expenses and for permanent disability.

The woman claims that she was definitely not in a relationship with the actor who was separated from his wife of 24-years at the time, and was merely accepting an invitation to stay the night in separate accommodation at his home which was nearer to her place of work.

Vinnie Jones is facing jail after being arrested in the US for punching a man in the face after being glassed in a fight at a pub.

Jones has been accused of starting an argument over a game of pool which quickly led to a full scale brawl.  The ex-footballer tuned actor, was treated in hospital for cuts and bruised to his face.

Angelina Jolie has been named the highest paid actress by the Hollywood Reporter.  Jolie passed last years biggest earner Reese Witherspoon, who is now third in the list behind Julia Roberts.

David Beckham and his LA Galaxy team-mates have taken part in a bungy jump in Auckland New Zealand with Beck’s enjoying it so much, he did it twice.

The jump plunged the footballer into the sea, 130ft below and he was even given a video to take home to show the boys his daredevil stunt.
