According to reports, the Little Britain star Matt Lucas, has split from his long term partner, Kevin McGee,  who he married in a civil ceremony in December 2006.

A statement from the couple’s legal representative said “It is with sadness that Matt and Kevin announce that their relationship has come to an end.  The separation is amicable.

They ask the Press to respect their privacy at this time and to exercise restraint in any reporting of this matter.”

Ricky Gervais is apparently going to sing the theme tune to the new sitcom ‘Toyboize’.  Why does ‘Minder’ spring to mind?

The show will be about a boyband reunion and with Gervais’s past pop career in the 1980’s, he thought his experience would make him the ideal candidate for the song.

He said “I thought the idea of the show was really funny and as a failed popstar myself, I jumped at the chance of writing a bad song.”

Jamelia has married her footballing boyfriend Darren Byfield at a West Sussex manor in an intimate ceremony covered by OK! Magazine.

The 27-year-old singer, and her new husband have two children, one together and one from a previous relationship of Jamelia’s.
