Marianne Faithful, the 61-year-old singer, has apparently collapsed recently and her spokesman has said, “Due to general mental, physical and nervous exhaustion, doctors have ordered Marianne to immediately cease all work activities and rehabilitate. The treatment and recovery should last around six months.”

Angelina Jolie has given birth to her twins, a boy and a girl. The babies were born by Cesarean section yesterday in Nice.

Ms. Jolie and Brad Pitt are said to have named their new son Knox Leon who weighed in at 5lb 3oz, and their daughter Vivienne Marcheline who weighed 5lbs.
