Russell Brand is to host the MTV Video Music Awards in Los Angeles on September 7.  Brand has spent the past year in America working on his stand-up shows and attempting to break into the movie industry.

Pixie Geldof is to design and model an eight piece fashion range for the ‘New Look’ stores.  Bosses have said that they are willing to extend the estimated £80,000 contract if it goes well.

Bindi Irwin, daughter of the late ‘Crocodile Hunter’ Steve, celebrated her tenth birthday yesterday at Queensland’s Australia Zoo.  All children were let into the Zoo, free of charge yesterday as the party got underway.

Reports today say that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s new twins were conceived via IVF treatment, so as Jolie could fall pregnant as soon as possible.
