Elizabeth Taylor was allegedly put on a life support machine after suffering congestive heart failure.  Last week the 76-year-old actress, was diagnosed with pneumonia but her condition was said to have deteriorated.

However, by the next day she had improved and was breathing on her own, she is still very ill but is apparently past the critical stage.
