Boris Becker, 40, apparently got engaged to his 24-year-old girlfriend at the weekend.  Alessandra Meyer-Woldern, known as Sandy, is the daughter of Becker’s late manager who died in 1997.

The engaged pair have now travelled to New York, where they are said to be making the arrangements for their wedding.

Actress Lucy Davis, who played the receptionist Dawn in ‘The Office’, has allegedly separated from her husband Owain Yeoman.

Ms. Davis, who is the daughter of Jasper Carrott, married Yeoman in December 2006, but the couple have supposedly been constantly rowing.

Madonna may have to postpone her upcoming 50th birthday bash on Saturday after spraining her right ankle.

It is thought the party will take place in a couple of weeks time when she has a three day break during her tour.
