R.Kelly the R&B star, has been cleared of child pornography charges in front of a jury in Chicago. The 41-year-old singer, best known for his hit ‘I believe I Can Fly’, was accused of making a film with himself having sex with a girl believed to be 13 or 14-years-old.

The filming was said to have taken place about 10-years-ago, and Kelly denied it was him in the film and the girl, now 23-years-old did not give evidence.

Wayne Rooney was given a surprise wedding gift at his reception from his new bride, Coleen. She had booked one of his favourite bands to play a secret gig for her husband and guests.

The band played a 45-minute gig and a source said “They blew everybody away and Wayne was simply gobsmacked. Stereophonics are one of his favourite bands - he looked like he’s won the Lottery”.

Amy Winehouse has reportedly performed at a private gig in Russia for an alleged £1 million. She was invited by the girlfriend of Roman Abramovich and rewarded the 300 special guests to an hour long set.

Winehouse, through a spokesman thanked Daria Zhukova for the invitation and “to such a great night” and a statement said “Amy was very happy to play a part in the restoring of such a great building to its future use as a space for contemporary art.”

The gig was the launch party for the Garage Centre for Contemporary Culture in Moscow.
