Les McKeown, lead singer with the 70’s pop band The Bay City Rollers, has confessed to leading a secret gay life for the past 30-years.
The 53-year-old married singer, who has a 24-year-old son with his Japanese wife, admitted to his sexuality while filming a documentary after he was offered a place at a rehab centre to overcome his alcohol problems.
McKeown also admitted to being date-raped by a man at the age of 19 in America while touring with the band but kept it too himself , which he believes led to his drinking and his bisexuality.
The programme called ‘Rehab’ will be aired tonight on Living TV at 9pm.
Jade Goody has allegedly signed a £700,000 deal with OK magazine for the media rights to her wedding which is to take place this Sunday.
she intends to put all the money raised from the wedding into a trust fund for her two young sons Bobby and Freddy. The photographs will appear in next weeks issue of the magazine providing Jade is well enough to walk down the aisle.
Jerry Springer has is to appear in the long-running West End musical ‘Chicago’ playing the part of Billy Flynn at the Adelphi Theatre in London.
He will be playing the character for six weeks in the summer beginning on June 1st and is said to be honoured to get the opportunity to take part.
Diane Holland who played the part of dance instructor Yvonne Steward-Hargreaves in the BBC comedy Hi-De-Hi, has died at the age of 78.
The actress was suffering from bronchial pneumonia and died on the 24th January. A public memorial service is planned to take part in the spring.
