The world was in shock today after the sudden death of Michael Jackson who suffered a massive heart attack at his Los Angeles home last night.

It is believed the 50-year-old had been allegedly addicted to prescription drugs and that his cardiac arrest was triggered by a pain killing injection given to him shortly before the attack.  Paramedics received a call stating that he was not breathing and he was rushed to a nearby hospital where a team spent an hour trying to revive the singer but to no avail.

The autopsy will take place today in Los Angeles with many expecting the outcome to be an addiction to prescription drugs.

Ronnie Biggs, 79, is expected to be released from the ‘elderly lifers’ unit at the Norwich prison as early as next week after serving a third of his sentence.

He was recently treated at a nearby hospital for pneumonia and returned to the jail on Monday but his condition continues to worsen and it has been reported that he can no longer eat or drink and is being fed through a tube.

Simon Cowell is expected to quit X Factor after the next series and is rumoured to be joining-up with Sir Phillip Green to launch a huge billion-pound entertainment company,

It is believed that Cowell, who is one of the highest paid TV Stars in the world, wants to continue with the programme ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ but may also quit ‘American Idol’.
