Broadway theatres dimmed their lights last night in a tribute to British actress Natasha Richardson who died on Wednesday after a skiing accident.
The actresses husband Liam Neeson and his wife’s family including her mother Vanessa Redgrave were present as the lights were dimmed for one minute at 8pm while a crowd of fans applauded.
According to reports the England footballer Steven Gerrard has had the assault charge against him dropped but will still face charges of affray.
The 28-year-old appeared in court today after it was claimed he was involved in a fight that took place on December 29th 2008, in a nightclub. He is due to appear Liverpool Crown Court on April 4th to face the charges.
Allegedly, Leona Lewis has been paid £1 million for one night’s work after a billionaire father paid the star to sing at his daughter’s 21st birthday bash.
The 2006 X Factor singer sang seven songs to the 200 guests and even had the birthday girl on stage with her to sing a duet of her hit song ‘Bleeding Love’.
