Patrick Swayze has died after losing his battle with the pancreatic cancer he has suffered with since January 2008. The actor passed away with his wife of 34-years Lisa Niemi, at his bedside at their ranch in Los Angeles yesterday.
Best known for his role as dance teacher in ‘Dirty Dancing’ and for his role in ‘Ghost’ alongside Demi Moore, Swayze continued to work throughout his illness and will be missed by his thousands of fans worldwide.
The celebrity chef Keith Floyd has died of a heart attack at the age of 65, after it was revealed in June that he was suffering from bowel cancer.
Floyd had been married four times and had a son and a daughter and it was said that he died yesterday at the home of his partner in Dorset.
Kanye West made a public apology on the Jay Leno late night chat show, for his behaviour at the MTV Awards. He said that he would like to apologise to Taylor Swift face to face and to help her in the future if that’s possible.
West lost his mother in November 2007 when she developed complications after undergoing cosmetic surgery at only 58-years-old. The singer says that he will now take a break from his music to reevaluate his life.
Rachel Stevens, the former S Club 7 singer, has been voted ‘Rear Of The Year’ along with tenor singer Russell Watson for the males. The pair were chosen on the official website for the award which is now in it’s 27th year.
