The Coronation Street actress Samia Smith has given birth to her first child this morning, a baby daughter weighing in at 7lbs 2oz.
The 27-year-old, who plays the part of Maria Connor in the ITV soap and her husband Matt, have named their daughter Freya.
The Daily Mail journalist Jan Muir, recently wrote a disturbing article in the newspaper surrounding the sudden death of ‘Boyzone’ singer Stephen Gately.
The article received a record number of complaints to the Press Complaints Commission after the public considered the column to be a smear on the young mans private life.
According to reports, Madonna is being sued for unreasonable noise levels at her New York home after neighbours complained that the singer was using her home as a rehearsal studio.
The neighbours consider the noise to be unreasonable after loud music, singing and dancing for up to 3-hours a day and have lodged their complaint to the Manhattan Supreme Court.
