Singer Will Young is continuing with his acting career after confirming he is too make an appearance in the popular teenage drama ‘Skins’ on Channel 4.
Young is to play the part of an education officer at a college after his previous appearances in ‘Mrs Henderson Presents’, starring opposite Dame Judi Dench and Bob Hoskins in 2005 and The Vortex’ in 2007.
Norman Cook has confirmed his delight that his wife Zoe Ball is expecting a baby daughter in January, a sister for their 8-year-old son Woody.
Veteran actor Dennis Hopper, best known for his role in ‘Easy Rider’ and ‘Speed’, was recently hospitalised, suffering from severe flu-like symptoms.
The 73-year-old, was forced to cancel several interviews but has now been treated for dehydration and is said to be feeling much better after his release from hospital.
Liam Gallagher, the frontman for‘ Oasis’, is heading a campaign to save the British bees, after the numbers of the insects have declined in recent years.
Gallagher was struck down by laryngitis in August of this year and was forced to pull-out of the V Festival gig and claims that it was the honey he used that soothed his throat. The singer said;
“You’ve got to look after the birds and the bees, man. The bees are vanishing. We’ve got to save them before they all buzz off.
It’s important. It’s a really worthwhile cause. Without them we’re in proper bother. I like honey. If it weren’t for honey, I’d have a rough voice.”
