Terry Wogan had a lucky escape last night when the tumble dryer caught fire in his Buckinghamshire home. Fortunately, his daughter heard the fire alarm and the family got out before fire services turned-up.
The fire was contained within the utility room and firemen put out the fire within minutes with little damage caused to the house.
Kate Garraway has come top in a poll for women that men secretly adore after beating Jackie Bramble’s in second and Sian Williams in third.
The poll in men’s magazine Nuts is in it’s third year and last year’s winner Fern Britton came in fourth for 2008. She was followed by Jane MacDonald, Nigella Lawson, Lorraine Kelly, Helen Mirren, Kirstie Allsopp and Jo Frost.
It has been revealed that last month singer Toni Braxton had a tumour removed from her breast, although thankfully it was benign.
Braxton was told to continue with the ‘Dancing With Stars’ show but confessed to be relieved when she was voted out as she wanted to get the treatment over after losing her grandmother to breast cancer.

Thank God Terry Wogan is ok. I love the man. I wonder if he’s a citizen of the UK or is he still counted as Irish? He surely deserves a knighthood or something. The man is a legend!
