After stating that she would never forgive anyone who cheated on her Cheryl Cole has reportedly taken back her cheating husband Ashley.

A friend of the singer’s said “She’s still in love with him, simple as that.”  Apparently the friend went onto say that Cheryl could not bear to be apart from him any longer and has said she will take him back but insists that he has to change,  “No matter how hard she tried to convince herself to leave him, she couldn’t bring herself to do it.”

It was revealed at the end of January that her husband supposedly cheated on her with a hairdresser.  Cheryl then consulted a lawyer and left the couples mansion in Surrey but last week after returning from Los Angeles she was prepared to give him another chance.

The friend apparently said “He has alot of grovelling to do before things get back to how they were.  Ashlely’s family have been talking about how the couple are back together.  He has been confident all along that she would come back.”

Cheryl was seen yesterday still minus her wedding ring which she is apparently not going to wear until she’s ready to put it back on “She is worried how people will react to her taking him back” said the friend, “It has been embarrassing for her because she was so vocal before the marriage about what she would do if he cheated on her.”

A spokesman for Cheryl refused to comment last night.
