Farrah Fawcett
The beloved American actress Farrah Fawcett, lost her battle with cancer today and died in hospital surrounded by her family and friends.
The 62-year-old was rushed to intensive care last night and was read her last rites this morning in her hospital bed with her fiance Ryan O’Neil at her side.
Best known for her days in ‘Charlie’s Angels, Farrah was released from hospital only a couple of days ago with O’Neil announcing that she had agreed to marry him, even if it was on her death bed.
The couple have a 24-year-old son together, Redmond, who is currently in prison on a drug rehabilitation programme.
A spokesman said Farrah has;
“passed to a better place and left the pain and confines of her bed behind”.
