Following their four-years of marriage, Ashley and Cheryl Cole have been granted a divorce today at the High Court on the grounds of the footballers unreasonable behaviour.

The couple met in 2004, became engaged in 2005 and married in 2006 but in 2008 their marriage was in trouble following reports of Ashley’s infidelity.

The couple must now wait for the decree absolute which will be issued in about six-weeks time for the final ending of their marriage following their separation in February of this year.

Paris Hilton

Paris Hilton was arrested on Friday night for possession of a controlled substance according to reports from Sky News who claim that she was in possession of cocaine.

Fox News had earlier reported that the rich bitch was travelling in a vehicle that was stopped by police, who arrested the driver on suspicion of driving under the influence of drugs.

A search of the vehicle and its occupants was carried out and the police found that Hilton was indeed in possession of a controlled substance.

Reports say that Hilton is currently in custody in Clark County Detention Centre, despite the heiress not mentioning the fact when  she twittered the message “Going to bed. Sweet dreams everyone. Xoxo Paris ”

Paris Hilton was said to be shaken this morning after spotting a man holding knives allegedly trying to break into her home.

The 29-year-old socialite saw the intruder on her personal CCTV, banging on her window while carrying two knives and immediately phoned police before updating her fans on Twitter.

Hilton took photographs of the man being arrested and posted them on her Twitter page saying;

“So Scary, just got woken up to a guy trying to break into my house holding 2 big knifes. Cops are here arresting him.”

The man has since been charged for felony burglary and is in police custody on bail.

Following their recent intimate wedding ceremony in Anguilla in July, Miranda Kerr and Orlando Bloom have confirmed that they are expecting their first child.

The 27-year-old model made her announcement in the Spanish edition of Vogue magazine as well as an Australian newspaper confirming that she is four-months pregnant.

The couple began dating in October 2007 and married only weeks after announcing their engagement leading to speculation that they would soon be surprising everyone with the news of a new arrival.

Kate Moss has had a quiet time of it recently but she was back in the news over the last week or two, firstly for her entrepreneurial skills in setting up a jam making business and secondly she is allegedly looking for a new holiday home.

Both news items featured in the Sun newspaper who’s ubiquitous source claimed that Kate had bought ‘loads of expensive equipment for making jam’.

She went on to add that there is so much fruit on the models land at her home in the Cotswold’s and she wanted to put it to good use. Apparently the jam making started as an hobby but appears to have spiralled into a business idea following favourable comments from anyone who had been given a sample.

Kate’s Damson Jam as it is known may even find its way onto the shelves of a supermarket near you, Kate has allegedly spoken to her friend Sir Phillip Green, seeking advice on how to market the product.

Despite being so busy the former Agent Provocateur model packed her women’s swimwear and headed off to an island off the coast of Italy this week, where she is reportedly hoping to buy a property.

Once again the ’source’ told the Sun that Moss had already tried to buy a plot of land on the island of Stromboli, after falling in love with the place while on a cruise in the area recently.

Stromboli is home to a live volcano which erupted as recently as April 13th 2009, but Moss seems unperturbed, the Sun source claiming that the model had already made a substantial offer on a piece of land where she would like to build her coastal home.

If she realises her dream Kate Moss will share the island with between 400 and 850 neighbours, although the place gets swarmed with visitors during the summer months.

The report on the BBC news website claims that many of us are able to squeeze in up to nine hours of media and communications use by multi tasking on more than one device at a time.

It has been revealed that actor Michael Douglas is suffering from a form of throat cancer and will undergo weeks of chemotherapy and radiotherapy in order to halt the disease.

The 65-year-old married to Welsh actress Catherine Zeta-Jones in 2000, with whom he has two children Dylan, 10, and Carys, 7, as well as a son Cameron from his first marriage.

Probably best known for his role in ‘Fatal Attraction’ and ‘Wall Street’, Michael is expected to make a full recovery according to his doctors and is said to be very optimistic of his recovery.

The concert boasts Broadway legends and West End favourites, such as Lea Salonga and Norm Lewis, as well as pop star Nick Jonas of the Jonas Brothers and Matt Lucas from Little Britain.

Les Miserables In Concert at London’s O2 Arena plays as one of three concurrent productions of Les Miserables in London, alongside the original production at the Queen’s Theatre and a 25th anniversary revival at the Barbican Centre.

Based on Victor Hugo’s novel about the French Revolution, the musical Les Miserables includes famous songs such as On My Own and I Dreamed a Dream, recently recorded by Susan Boyle.

Matt Lucas first entered the world of musical theatre in 2002 before going on to become hugely successful as George Dawes with Vic Reeves & Bob Mortimer on the TV comedy quiz show, Shooting Stars, and then later writing and starring with David Walliams in the award-winning BBC radio & television sketch show Little Britain.

Lucas has also acted in both films and television shows including Shaun Of The Dead, Wind In The Willows, Gavin & Stacey, French & Saunders and King Arthur’s Disasters.  His latest role was as Tweedledee & Tweedledum in Tim Burton’s adaptation of Alice In wonderland.

George Michael

George Michael has once again been charged with possession of cannabis and driving under the influence of drink or drugs.

The 47-year-old singer allegedly crashed into a photography shop in Hampstead, North London last month and will now face trial for the incident.

This is the seventh time that Michael has been under investigation, which was this time caught on CCTV, but insisted that he had not been drinking or taking drugs.

The singer was said to have been driving his Range Rover in the early hours of the morning on his way home from the Gay Pride parade when his vehicle was seen mounting the pavement and slamming into the front of the shop, causing damage, he was charged this morning with the offence.
