The Ex-England footballer, Paul ‘Gazza’ Gascoigne has been released from the psychiatric hospital where he has spent the last eighteen days.
Gazza was collected from the hospital by his sister and taken to his father’s house after he was sectioned for his strange and erratic behaviour. A friend of Gazza’s said “He needs the people who love him most now and they’ll be there for him. But he knows its up to him now. Gazza has received so much support from the public over the past three weeks. He’s truly grateful.”
The 40 year old, looked frail as he left the hospital but is said to be on the road to recovery.
He had apparently said his recovery is being helped by his 10 year old son, Regan who he has been playing the Nintendo Wii against on the Internet, he said “It’s good fun. I’ve been playing Regan at ten-pin bowling on the Wii games. He challenged me.”
His father, John 62, was to have said “It’s good to have him back. He’s sleeping alot - he needs a lot of rest to help him recover.”
