The Gentleman’s Quarterly Magazine have published there annual list of the Best-dressed men in Britain.
Top of the list for the second consecutive year, was the classically dressed Daniel Craig, who was named ‘The Best-Dressed Man in Britain’ for 2008.
Oddly enough, the Mighty Boosh star, Noel Fielding was in second place with his outlandish and somewhat eccentric style. He was described in one article as looking like Joan Rivers from the neck down. When asked about his flamboyant style he said “I always dress like a freak. I’ve always been obsessed with clothes. My mum was always into clothes, too.”
Four of the Royal family have actually appeared on the top fifty list this year with Prince Harry at 12, The Prince of Wales at 25, The Duke of Edinburgh at 33 and Prince Michael of Kent at 34. surprisingly Prince William did not appear on the list this year.
Even Sir Elton John also unbelievably appears on the list, although he was described as looking like a sumo wrestler on a date with Graham Norton. Who actually votes for these people?
David Beckham was of course one of the men on the best-dressed list but actually appears on the worst-dressed list. Makes no sense to me but then what do I know!
Here are the top ten Best-dressed;
1, Daniel Craig 2, Noel Fielding 3, Daniel Day-Lewis 4, James McAvoy 5, Tom Ford 6, David Beckham 7, Jude Law 8, David Cameron 9, David de Rothschilds 10, David Furnish
Here are the top ten Worst-dressed;
1, Russel Brand 2, Pete Doherty 3, Gordon Brown 4, Jonathan Ross 5, Jeremy Clarkson 6, James Blunt 7, Gordan Ramsey 8, Mika 9, David Beckham 10, Johnny Borrell
