Halle Berry who gave birth to her first child on Sunday has revealed her daughter’s name as Nahla Ariela Aubry.

The actress choose the Arabic name Nahla, which is said to mean ‘drink of water’ and the name Ariela, which is Hebrew for ‘lion for god’ and the surname of her partner, Gabriel Aubrey.

It seems to follow in the latest trend for the Celebrity children to have exotic and unusual names.

Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt’s daughter was given the name Shiloh, which derives from the Hebrew origin of ‘His Gift’
