That really tall bloke Simon Cowell, has now shown all you doubters what a really nice man he is.
Simon Cowell recently appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Chat show where he was shown some footage of a family living in the US.
The family were struggling to pay a mortgage of £80,000 as every day they had to make a journey of 100 miles for the cancer treatment of their 3 year old daughter, Madeline.
Little Madeline from Claremont, Minnesota has been diagnosed with an aggressive type of cancer called alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, and she has already started losing her hair.
The lovely Mr Cowell, known as ‘Mr Nasty’ said, “I didn’t know what to do in this situation, other than do something which I hope will help your situation. I know that you’re having problems with your mortgage. As of this afternoon your mortgage has been paid off.”
After writing the cheque, he said how good it felt to give, “It’s taken me 48 years. I credit you with this.”
Multi-millionaire Simon went onto the show to promote the X Factor winner, Leona Lewis in America. A very nice gesture Simon, lets hope other celebrities follow in your footsteps.
