It was reported today that Johnny Vegas divorced his wife because of her “aggressive and abusive” behaviour.

The couples marriage ended yesterday after five years together in the High Court in London.  Kitt Donnelly has been living apart from Johnny for the past two years and they both agreed to the end the marriage.

Apparently, Mr. Vegas, 36 years old, in a sworn affidavit stated that the main reason for the separation from his wife was that he found it difficult to deal with her “irrational and unpredictable behaviour.”

The affidavit was also reported to have stated “The petitioner came to the conclusion that his marriage was in fact at an end on 3 September 2003, when the petitioner returned home after a long day at work.  The respondent had been drinking and was aggressive and abusive to the petitioner throughout the entire night.”

The couple married in August 2002 in San Francisco and have a four-year-old son together, whom it is said Johnny ‘dotes on’.
