Jordan, now known as Katie Price, attended The British Book Awards ceremony at London’s Grosvenor House Hotel in Park Lane.
The glamour model and now successful author was in such company as JK Rowling, Patricia Cornwell and Ian McEwan to discover if her ‘My Pony Care Book’, her debut children’s book would win an award in the youngster’s category.
Ms. Price, missed out on the award for Children’s Book of the Year, which went to the author Francesca Simon for Horrid Henry and the Abominable Snowman.
Katie attended the event in a beautiful maxi dress with the usual plunging neckline, however, it was Ms Rowling that seemed to be losing control of her chest for a change. The millionairess in a waist-clinching purple dress seemed to be straining at the bust-line and through the evening was seen hoisting the dress back into place.
Ms. Rowling, the Harry Potter author, was honoured with the life time achievement award, Ian McEwan won Book of the Year and Author of the Year for Chesil Beach, Khaled Hosseini took home the Richard & Judy Best Read of the Year for A Thousand Splendid Suns and Russell Brand received a best biography for My Booky Wook.
Other celebrities were seen mingling amongst the authors such as the film director, Lord Attenborough, Geri Halliwell, Abi Titmuss and Alesha Dixon.
