The man who believes he is Kerry Katona’s dad, has accused the singer of “blackmailing” him.
John Dowd, 50, is convinced he is her father after claiming to have slept with her mother 28 years ago. Kerry, mother of three girls claims to have tracked him down by hiring a private detective.
Kerry, 27, demanded he take a DNA test on her MTV Show ‘Crazy In Love’. He apparently got the offer of the test in an email from production firm North One TV in which the boss, Tina Flintoff wrote “Kerry would like to do a DNA test with you. However, because we are filming the whole time we would like to capture this on camera.”
Mr Dowd, of Cheshire was said to be stunned, “It’s like blackmail, its unbelievable. They’re basically saying, ‘If you don’t do it on TV, then she won’t do it’”.
