Kris Marshall, the actor best known for his role as Nick in ‘My Family’ and the BT adverts, is in intensive care with serious head injuries after being hit by a car.

Mr Marshall, 34-years-old, was waiting outside a pub near Bristol with a group of friends on Saturday night.

Last night his family were at his bedside in Bristol Royal Infirmary.  A friend said “Kris’s family have been extremely worried.  He’s awake, but obviously, with head injury, there are fears.”

A spokesman said “Kris was in an accident and sustained a head injury.  He is in a stable condition.”

The actor who has appeared in Love Actually, The Four Feathers and had the lead role as Luke Stone in the drama ‘Murder City’, has recently been rehearsing for a play called ‘Fat Pig’.
