The son of Michael Douglas and his former wife Diandra, has been sentenced to five years in prison for dealing drugs.
Cameron, 31, pleaded guilty to dealing methamphetamine and cocaine in January and was told he faced a jail term of up to 10 years after his arrest in July of 2009. He was arrested in a New York hotel room in possession of $18,000 worth of crystal methamphetamine with his lawyers claiming that his dealing was just a way of funding his own addiction.
Michael, 65, allegedly wrote a letter to the judge in a plea for leniency but the judge criticised both the actor and Diandra for being ‘distant, problematic and immature’ parents.
