Minnie Driver, the 38 year old British actress, has confirmed that she is expecting her first child.
She confirmed the rumours last night on the America’s Tonight Show with Jay Leno but would not reveal the father of the baby.
Ms. Driver told Leno that she wished to keep the father private and away from the media coverage.
The actress said that even though she was enjoying the pregnancy she could do without the morning sickness, “I don’t know why they call it morning sickness. I am sick morning, noon and night. But it’s a fair trade off,” she said.
The Good Will Hunting star is currently enjoying success in the States in ‘The Riches’ opposite Eddie Izzard, and was recently nominated for a Golden Globe and an Emmy.
