A family in Indiana are hoping to obtain a revolutionary new treatment which could potential cure Patrick Swayze and Connie.

Connie Loughman, a 62-year-old, mother of three, has been suffering from pancreatic cancer since being diagnosed in August 2007.  Mr Swayze as we now know, was diagnosed with the same deadly disease in January of this year.

The family of Mrs Loughman have launched a website www.cureconnieandpatrick.com to get people to help by sending emails or telephoning a company requesting they be allowed the drug which could help them.

A great cause, and anyone would do the same if there was any chance of a cure for a member of their family, the problem is that Mr Swayze never authorised the use of his name and was not aware of the campaign.  It may be for a good cause but it remains to be seen if Mr Swayze will give his backing or if the entire website is to be removed.
