According to newspaper reports today, Paul Young, the 80’s idol, is working part-time as a chef at a restaurant owned by his ex-wife and the man she left him for.

Mr Young was one of the contestants on the reality TV show, Hell’s Kitchen, where he came fourth and showed his love for cooking.

He was supposedly seen chatting with diners at the Upstairs Restaurant in north London and also posing for photographs in between rustling up some impressive dishes.

A friend was reported to have said “Paul and Stacey have remained firm friends.  He’s thrilled to be working in the restaurant because he loves cooking.”

Paul had 14 top 40 singles in his pop career such as ‘wherever I Lay My Hat’ and ‘Love Of The Common People’.
