It has been revealed that Russell Brand is to play the part of Keith Richards in a movie directed by Kevin Spacey called ‘A Summer In Hell’.
The movie is apparently a reflection of The Rolling Stones’ hell-raising days in the South of France with wild parties and wilder women, and is said to have a star studded line-up including Kylie Minogue and Nick Cave.
The Stones production is the most popular as it charts their action-packed summer in Nice, when they even had a shoot-out with a harbour master.
Johnny Depp was supposed to be up for the part but it went to the wild haired, wild eyed, comedian Russell Brand said to be due to the fact that he is nearer to the age Keith was when the band were in France.
