The 1980’s TV classic ‘Minder’ is set to return to our screens with Shane Richie playing the part of wheeler-dealer Arthur Daley in a revamped version of the program.
The 43-year-old actor who played Alfie Moon in Eastenders will be the star of the show which will be shown on Channel 5 this Autumn.
The role of Terry McCann who was originally played by Dennis Waterman, has not yet been cast, although Dennis has been tipped to play another part in the show. Could it possibly be write the theme tune, sing the theme tune!
George Cole, now 82-years-old, and the original Arthur Daley is said to be against remaking the program.
