Yesterday, Sir Anthony Hopkins was at Caerphilly, South Wales, to unveil a 9ft bronze statue of his hero Tommy Cooper.
The memorial of the comedian was unveiled in his home town and Sir Anthony travelled there from his home in Los Angeles to perform the ceremony for one of his hero’s.
Apparently, Sir Anthony couldn’t resist impersonating the comedy legend as he unveiled the statue and entertained the crowd with Cooper jokes.
The Tommy Cooper Society raised £40,000 for the statue of the fez wearing comedian and it was sculptured by James Done.
